‘A Bird With a Knife’ is a feature documentary examining the fifty-year mystery surrounding the mutilation of thousands of cattle across the American West. The cases have spawned a string of theories - aliens, cults, a government cover-up, or birds - a widespread delusion. Following a veteran investigative journalist, a rural Oregon sheriff, and the ranchers whose cases they’re both working to solve, this a film about our search for truth in the face of an unsolvable mystery.

Winner of the Catapult Development Fund and pitched at DocNYC Pitch and Doclands Pitch Competition.
